History is being written right now. Who's writing yours?
History is being written right now. Who's writing yours?
This is the threshold where most writers stop.
This mentorship exists to guide You through
that threshold.
Your voice matters
This 6-Week Program is for you, if you wonder:
There are moments in history when silence becomes impossible. We are living in one of them Now.
WELCOME TO THE MENTORSHIP THAT REDEFINES WHAT A WRITING PROGRAM CAN BE
In six weeks, you stop swimming around the idea and begin writing and sharing it. You move through the conditioning that has silenced you and kept you feeling lost, learn to trust the message you know is ultimately medicine, and leave with
a clear path to publish and bring your words to life in a way that can
genuinely impact others.
Develop and clarify your message, refine your voice, and step into authorship with the support of mentors and community.
Move beyond fear, perfectionism, procrastination, and self-doubt so you can write with clarity, confidence, and emotional truth.
Receive expert guidance, and real-time support from two bestselling authors who understand both the creative and publishing journey.
IF YOU’VE BEEN CARRYING A STORY LIKE THIS, YOU’RE EXACTLY WHERE YOU NEED TO BE.
You already feel there’s something important inside you.
A lived experience, a story, wisdom that wants to exist beyond your head, journals, or notes. Whether it's a book, essay collection, poetry, blog, or Substack, knowing you're meant to write something and actually bringing it to life are two very different things. Meaningful writing requires more than inspiration. It requires emotional honesty, narrative authority, clear structure, and the courage to let your voice be seen.
Both Shannon and Andrea understand what it feels like to have words stuck in your throat. Afraid get them out, unsure how to organize and write the words out, uncertain what to do with it once it's on the page. We've written 11 books between us, and still find ourselves here from time to time. We also know how to get out of that stuck place, and get the words on the damn page.
You are in the rigth place, If you are ready to...

01
You don't have a writing problem, you have a clarity problem. Week one fixes that. We identify the pivotal experiences at the heart of your work, define the through-line that gives it shape, and set the scope so you're building something focused instead of drowning in everything you could possibly say.
You leave with a named project, a narrative spine, and writing targets that create real momentum. That way when we go deep on emotional truth in week two, you're not starting from scratch, you're building.
Thursday April 30th: 4:00 PM PST/ 7:00 PM EST
02
Thursday May 7th: 4:00 PM PST/ 7:00 PM EST
The feelings are there, (they’ve always been there) but they’ve been suppressed, silenced, scattered, or aimed at the wrong target. Week two is about reclaiming the emotional core of your work, learning to separate raw reaction from integrated truth, and redirect that energy into the story itself.
You end week two knowing the difference between writing from the wound and writing about it, so your emotion stops being something to manage and starts being the most powerful tool in your writing.
02
Thursday April 30th: 4:00 PM PST/ 7:00 PM EST
Powerful writing is rarely neutral. It carries emotional truth. This week focuses on reclaiming emotional energy that may have been suppressed, distorted, or scattered and redirecting it into creative expression.
You learn how to separate reactive emotion from deeper truth so feeling becomes narrative insight, creative power, and connection with the reader.
03
Thursday May 14th: 4:00 PM PST/ 7:00 PM EST
At some point, every writer struggles to trust themselves. The doubt creeps in, the outside voices get loud, and suddenly you're writing for an imagined critic instead of your actual reader. Week three is about clearing that out. We look at the early identity patterns and core fears that shape what you feel allowed to say, identify where outside voices have been running the show, and help you get clear on what your story actually stands behind.
You leave with stronger narrative authority and the grounded confidence to write from truth… not from the version of you that's still asking for permission.
04
Thursday May 21ST: 4:00 PM PST/ 7:00 PM EST
The first three weeks do the internal work, and week four is where you stop being a writer with something to say and become a writer with something to build. This is where emotional clarity becomes architecture. We explore structural models for memoir, narrative nonfiction, and long-form writing, identify the central question driving your project, and map out the chapters, sections, or publishing rhythm that gives the work its shape.
You leave with a framework that makes the project feel real, as well as the structural clarity to stop staring at a blank page and start building inside something that holds.
Thursday May 28th: 4:00 PM PST/ 7:00 PM EST
05
Week five is about letting your work be seen! You've spent four weeks doing the internal work, getting clear on what you're writing, why it matters, and what it's made of. This week we cover the publishing paths available to you– traditional, hybrid, and self-publishing, and get honest about what agents, editors, and readers actually look for. You'll refine how you talk about your project publicly, explore how platforms like Substack and TikTok can build a real audience around your work, and write the thing you've been hesitating to share.
You leave with the language, the plan, and one concrete visibility action already taken, because the goal here was never a perfect pitch but the confidence and momentum to finally say the thing out loud.
06
Thursday JUNE 4th: 4:00 PM PST/ 7:00 PM EST
This final week is about making sure the work doesn't stop when the program does. We consolidate everything built over the past six weeks, step fully into the identity of authorship rather than slipping back into hesitation, and design a realistic 90-day plan that keeps the project moving forward. We also hold space this week for whatever the group still needs, because six weeks of real writing work has a way of surfacing questions we couldn't have anticipated at the start.
You leave with sustainable writing rhythms, a clear next phase for your project, and the conviction to keep going long after this container closes.
When you enroll in the full six-week program, you’ll also receive access to these exclusive bonuses designed to support your writer journey and accelerate your momentum, including a special early-bird bonuses available through April 19.

"I Went From Lost With Low Self Esteem Around The Publishing World To Landing My Dream Agent
And Getting A High-Five Figure Book Deal With My #1 Pick Penguin Random House. I’ve Become A Regular Sought After Expert In The Media, Featured In InStyle, Parents, Pop Sugar, MindBodyGreen And More. And my book Anxiously Attached has become a bestseller selling more than 100K copies."
Andrea didn't just help me with a proposal, she helped me see myself as someone who could actually write it
I came to Andrea with a book idea that was trying to be everything at once. Within our first sessions together, she helped me see what the book was actually about; and that clarity changed everything. She helped me narrow the focus as well as build frameworks for each chapter. I left our work together knowing that this book is possible and will come to light.
"Working with Shannon didn’t just help me land a top literary agent within a week of querying — it helped me believe in myself again."
Her guidance goes far beyond strategy; she has a gift for clearing old beliefs and limitations that hold you back. Through her mentorship, I found the confidence, clarity, and self-trust to step fully into my power as an author.
Andrea’s guidance helped me live with more clarity and intention.
I had big goals I wanted to accomplish. I write fiction, but I hadn’t finished a book in over a year. Going through the process unlocked my creativity and helped me jumpstart my writing career. I’ve finished three books since, and I have the confidence of knowing how to hit reset when things get challenging.

Women who feel called to write meaningful work grounded in lived experience
and who are ready to move from circling the work to actively building it.
No—this is not psychotherapy. It is a trauma-informed mentorship container where emotion is part of the work. We create clear structure, grounding, and guidance so what comes up can be used with purpose. Week Two is devoted to channeling emotion into clarity, voice, and creative power.

Yes. Many writers begin meaningful work while they are still integrating the experiences that shaped it. This program is trauma-informed and designed to support women writing from lived experience, including betrayal, identity shifts, and personal transformation. You are not required to have everything fully resolved before you begin writing. In fact, writing can be one of the ways clarity emerges. What matters most is a willingness to engage your experience thoughtfully and translate it into authorship. Throughout the program, we provide structure, grounding, and guidance so emotional material can be directed into purposeful writing rather than overwhelming the process.
Of course you’re welcome. Many participants arrive with a general sense of what they want to explore rather than a fully defined project. The first weeks of the program are specificaly designed to help you clarify the work you are here to write. Through guided exercises, reflection, and structured discussion, you will identify the central theme, thesis, or narrative throughline that will shape your project.By the end of the early sessions, most participants have a clear direction and a defined body of work they are actively developing.
No. This program focuses on mentorship, structure, and momentum rather than line editing or manuscript review. If you’d like to upgrade for private manuscript edits from Andrea and/or Shannon, that option is available.
